My name is Sophie and I’m a qualified Physiotherapist and Sports Masseur. I’m also a qualified Tennis Coach!
I enjoy working with people in all capacities, whether it’s teaching them or fixing them. In my spare time I try to fit in as much sport as I can. Dancing, Tennis, Hiking, Skiing and Horse Riding are just some of the things I love and I’m always up for trying something new. However, I’ve also had my fair share of injuries, so I can relate when people have the same experience. I’ve also found that having an injury allows me to find better ways of treating it, as well as spending time around athletes from different sports with a cacophony of injuries!
I’m also a big fan of reading and will always have my head in a book. Some of the best books I’ve read have been recommended to me by my patients, including ones on Anatomy! I dedicate time to exploring new evidence and suggestions on how to vary treatment and make sure it’s as effective as possible.
My other passion is music. I play the piano and guitar whenever I get the chance and my current challenge is teaching myself how to play the violin!
I believe the best way to get good at something is to practice so no matter what skill I’m trying to improve I’ll always put 110% into making it happen. This allows me to constantly look at my work and see where I can better my treatments making sure I give the best care I can.
